On Our Own Terms: A Conversation About Medical Aid in Dying, Dignity, and the Choices We're Afraid to Make

On August 5th, 2025, New York State became one of only a handful of states in the country where medical aid in dying is now legal.

For our community — people living with metastatic breast cancer — this is not an abstract policy debate. It's a deeply personal question about how we want to live, and how we want to die.
